Why XXI?

There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin. That number isn't arbitrary — it's a promise. A hard cap. A line in the sand that says: this cannot be diluted.
We named ourselves after that number because we believe the same thing about wine. The best bottles come from vineyards that don't chase volume. Winemakers who say no more often than yes. Harvests measured in quality, not quantity.
We are Bitcoin maximalists. We believe Bitcoin is not just a store of value — it is money. Money that wants to be used, not just hoarded. Every bottle you buy with sats is proof that the circular economy works. No fiat. No compromises.
We're not a crypto gimmick. We're a wine merchant on a Bitcoin standard — and we're building for a world where hard money is the default.
Built Where the Wine Is
We launch where the wine is. Germany has some of the most underrated vineyards in the world — Rieslings from the Mosel that rival anything from Burgundy, Spätburgunders from Baden that hold their own against Pinot Noir from anywhere. We start here because we believe in what grows here.
Where We're Going
XXI Wines is just getting started. Here's what we're building toward — honestly, in the open:
Right Now
We price in euros and convert to sats at checkout. Our suppliers work in fiat. Our shipping partners work in fiat. That's the world we're in today, and we don't pretend otherwise.
Next
As Bitcoin adoption grows — and as we find suppliers and partners willing to accept Bitcoin — we'll shift more of our cost structure onto a Bitcoin standard.
Eventually
Full sat denomination. No euro reference. When the wine industry thinks in sats, so will we. We believe this future is inevitable — it's just a matter of blocks.
The goal isn't to slap a Bitcoin logo on a wine shop. It's to build a business that could only exist on a Bitcoin standard.
